My great grandson and Lil Star

Grandson Sage, back in the saddle with Star Bright after a long pause from Buddy..

This is what it's all about for me.

Introducing my grandchildren to horses.

Horses build confidence, in so many ways.

They help teach respect,

communication without words,

patience... and so much more...

Physically they give you balance, and can help with recovering from some injuries as part of a physical therapy. They are great emotional supporters for those with mental traumas to overcome. ..

They give so much love, understanding and grace.

More than a 'pet' they are a companion.

A friend for life.

I hope life is treating you well. We all miss you, never understood why you never wanted to be a part of the family. You had 2 sisters that needed you and a little brother that looked up to you. I needed you.

I needed to know you were okay and safely in bed at night.

I needed to know you had hot food and clean clothes to wear.

I needed to know you had showers and a place to go.

I needed to know you were okay.

For some reason you think it didn't matter and you never bothered to try.

I honestly don't know why.

I wasn't perfect, I had no mother for an example. For me it was 'learn as you go' and the influences around me were not good. That's why I left the got a divorce.

I never wanted you kids torn in the middle that was your dad and unfortunately there was nothing I could do because we cannot change other people.

I needed to stay alive and you didn't seem to understand that.

Our lives were in danger and I tried to protect all of you.

You chose to go there.

I didn't have a choice for the things I did.

You were loved, you are loved and you always will be loved and missed.
