Starting to collect the boxes, pack up the things not used every day. This is the final month, coming into the 'going home' stretch. Brand new, beautiful, close to the waterfront. Loving it.
So proud of myself I haven't bought a single plant while I've been here. I'm waiting til I'm home. Looking forward to living by myself with my fur babies. Looking forward to being 'home' not just in a house. It's been a year or more since some things have been unpacked. Be nice to see stuff again.
The jobs have been picking up pretty steady, and I'll be more centrally located to be able to take on more inspections. A bit further away for some, but the new car gets better gas mileage, so it'll work out better. Summertime - the best time to have a convertible. Can't wait to see how Chanelle likes riding with the 'top down'.
My horse won't be too far away, and my friend is hoping to go riding with us this summer. Be good to hit the trails again. She has a horse trailer, and our horses get along. They actually walk in the same stride, so we won't have the usual one going faster or slower than the other. My girl did great with the grandkids last weekend. First time ride in a while. She seems to enjoy herself carting the kids around.
We know how much she loves going to the ocean and hitting the trails. It's definitely worth it to head for the ocean park, for a weekend. We know an awesome beach that is never too crowded, and she loves to run when you let her open up. No fence in sight and she's gone!
So, looking forward to making this move, getting unpacked and getting on with life. Hanging up pictures, buying new house plants. It's been hard to 'not' buy plants. Being able to look forward and make long standing plans, decorate for holidays. Being able to say, "I'm home" instead of 'yep, I'm at the house'.
I have lost track of how many times I've said "this will be my final home". So I'm not even going to say it this time. Even though I'm hoping this will be my last move. So many I've lost count of how many times I've had to move. Funny how all I ever really wanted was a house and to 'not move'. Oh well there is always the next life, or maybe the one after that. lol.
Blessed by God
