House Plants

I went over a year without a plant in my life. I had sold off all my indoor and outdoor potted plants when the house sold. There is just something about plants that make a house a home, fresh and appealing. I've missed my babies. Recently a friend moved from Washington to California and before she left, she made babies of some of the plants I had given her. In addition, she loaded me up with several plants she wasn't able to take with her. It took a couple truck loads just to move the plants she did take. It took me a couple carloads to bring the ones for me that she gave me. All of which are now growing happily in the house where I am at. A couple are in despair thanks to Sylvester who happens to love chewing on them. There are not enough high windows to protect all of them, so it's a bit of a battle between him and I to keep him out of them. He's getting better, learning takes time. I'm still on the hunt to replace a few that I had and enjoyed growing. During my hunt I've come across a few good links to share for those interested in house plants.
